Calling Ocean Heroes is a 5-week movement that transforms everyday actions into meaningful environmental impact. Organized by Unique Sunday in partnership with Reef Check Malaysia and IOI City Mall, this campaign invites shoppers, students, and families to become Ocean Heroes by recycling e-waste and joining our beach cleanup. How It Works? Step 1: Visit IOI City Mall (14–16 August 2026) Bring your old electronics – mobile phones, laptops, cameras, batteries, cables, and more – to our campaign booth at IOI City Mall. Every item recycled earns you a cash voucher RM1,500 daily to be given away and a spin on the "Wheel of Fortune", where you can win instant cash vouchers from participating F&B and retail tenants. Step 2: Register for Beach Cleanup Sign up for our beach cleanup at Pantai Kelanang & Pantai Morib on 24 & 27 September 2026. Registration is just RM20, which covers professional cleaning equipment, and a RM20 lunch voucher – making it effectively "free" to participate! Step 3: Join the Cleanup & Celebrate Join hundreds of volunteers from universities across Malaysia – including UPM, MMU, and Limkokwing – as we clean up our beautiful coastline. After the cleanup, we return to IOI City Mall for a celebration lunch, competition announcements, and an appreciation ceremony.
